CEO - Kyle von Bucholz
Mr. von Bucholz is a retired US Army Special Operations Communications Officer with over 23 years of Defense and Intelligence Community experience installing, operating and maintaining communications and computer networks. He has a BS in Business Administration and a Masters of Information Systems and is a former VP and Director of Federal Sales for a large Layer 2 Security Vendor. Mr. von Bucholz is an experienced Program Manager for mission critical DoD programs exceeding $20M and he is currently the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Federated IT, an emerging growth professional services company supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities.

President - Matthew Bucholz
Matthew Bucholz is a graduate of The Citadel Military College of South Carolina and a retired US Marine Corps Officer who has held a variety of commands throughout his career.  He is also a former Police Officer and is the founder and President of Federated Information Technologies, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned and 8(a) certified Small Business.  He has successfully guided the company from the start-up phase to a recognized professional services provider that was recently selected by the Washington Business Journal as one of the top 25 Small Technology Companies in the Washington DC metropolitan area.  In September 2009 Federated was ranked #523 on Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing companies, #52 in Government Services and #45 Fastest Growing Government Contractors in the Washington DC area, and in 2010 received the US Chamber of Commerce’s Blue Ribbon Award as one of the Top 75 Small Businesses in America.  He started his career in technology as an engineer and worked his way up through various leadership positions in sales and operations.  Prior to starting Federated, he was President and CEO of DataSys, an Information Technology services company. His professional experience includes managing large IT integration programs as well as delivering Analytic and Operations support to the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement and Intelligence communities.
